We are a family run independent funeral directors have been providing first class funerals services to the community since 1880. We have a dedicated team of professionals on hand 24 hours a day to look after your needs and care for your loved ones in a bespoke way that is fitting to you and your loved ones.

Our dedicated team offers the vastly experienced knowledge and support from the very first phone call, supporting you along every step of the way. We will be on hand to help with the registration process, through to the arranging of the service including booking dates and times at the crematorium or place of burial (including churches) as well as booking the minister and dealing with all the necessary paperwork involved when arranging a funeral, to conducting the best and most professional service to make sure your loved one gets the send off they deserve.

We also dedicate ourselves to the after care which could be arranging a small private service for your loved ones ashes to be laid to rest in a local cemetery or churchyard.

Direct Cremation

The most reasonable in England for Direct Cremation.

Collection of your loved one from either a hospital, Nursing home or your family home
Transportation to Basildon Crematorium for your loved one in a specialised vehicle
We can arrange to collect your loved ones ashes and arrange a time for you to collect them from us

Direct Cremation £975

This simple and dignified cremation service for those who don’t require the traditional elements of a funeral service such as a ceremony or procession that involves a hearse.

What’s Included

Collection of your loved one from a local Hospital or Hospice within 15 miles of our chapels of rest during business hours
The attention of our dedicated staff to make and guide you through the funeral arrangements and administration.
Transportation of your loved one to your chosen crematorium in a specialised vehicle.
Accommodation of your loved one for up to 14 days prior to the cremation.
A simple coffin of our choosing.
Necessary staff to the commencement and carrying out of the professional service.
Return of the ashes to our local office if requested.
Disbursement fees including Crematorium Fees and Doctors Fees.

What’s Not Included

A service of any kind at the crematorium or other venue.

Other Fees That May Apply

Collection of your loved one from a private address or a residential home outside business working hours
Collection of your loved one from a private address, residential home or hospital outside of the 15-mile radius from the chapels of rest.

Simple Funeral £1,995*

This service is a lower cost funeral with the aim of having some elements of a traditional service.

What’s Included

Bringing your loved one into our care from their place of death within the 15 miles of our Chapels of Rest during business working hours.
The attention of our dedicated staff to make and guide you through the funeral arrangements and administration.
Provision of a Simple Coffin fitted and furnished suitable for cremation or burial.
We’ll prepare, and dress your loved one in a gown or an outfit chosen by you ready for our chapels of rest for a closed coffin viewing
We will care for and accommodate your loved one until the time of the funeral.
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours.
Provision of the Hearse, proceeding directly to the crematorium and necessary bearers for the occasion of the funeral.
We will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral.
A Funeral Director on the day of the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral.
Collection of cremated remains from the crematorium £10.

What’s Not Included

Collection of your loved one from a private address or a residential home outside business working hours.
Bringing your loved one into our care beyond a 15-mile radius (an additional mileage charge may apply).
Hygienic Preservation for an open viewing in our chapels of rest.
A separate funeral service or celebration taking place before proceeding to the local crematorium or cemetery.
A Limousine to follow the Hearse. (Limousines are only available with our traditional funeral services).
Third party fees (from £1165.00)** (disbursements which include crematorium or cemetery fees, minister fees and doctors’ fees)

Collection of your loved one outside the 15 miles of our chapels of rest (Extra charge may apply for collection of your loved one further then the 15 miles of our chapels of rest)

Traditional Funeral £2,635*

Our Traditional Funerals are the service that you would want which includes all the traditional elements.

What’s Included

Bringing your loved one into our care from their place of passing, within 15 miles of our offices during business working hours.
The attention of our dedicated staff to make and guide you through the funeral arrangements and administration.
We will arrange a Minister or Celebrant to lead the funeral service and liaise with service venues and third parties on your behalf to ensure your wishes are carried out.
Provision of our oak veneered coffin fully fitted and furnished with luxury linings, suitable for burial or cremation (other coffins & caskets are available).
Hygienic Preservation & dressing your loved on in their own clothes or a gown for an open viewing in our chapels of rest.
Collection of cremated remains from the crematorium.
We will care for and accommodate your loved one until the time of the funeral in our chapels of rest.
You’ll be able to visit your loved one by appointment during normal working hours
Provision of the Hearse and one limousine and necessary bearers for the occasion of the funeral, leaving from an address of the families choosing and the family’s choice of route to the service venue.
If required a separate service or ceremony at your chosen location before the committal at the crematorium or cemetery* (*Extra Charge Will Apply).
A Funeral Director on the day of the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral.
On-going support and advice in relation to the cremated remains or burial plot.

Third party Disbursements (Crematorium fees, Minister fees and Doctors fees)
Bringing your loved one into our care from their place of death beyond the 15 miles of our chapels of rest (Extra charges may apply)
Collection of your loved one from a private address or a residential home outside business working hours.
Any additional elements to the service I.E an extra limousine, an ashes urn etc – these can be purchased at additional costs just ask our professional members of staff for any more information and prices.
