I first knew of LE Brand when I visited them nearly twenty five years ago with my Dad after my Mum had died suddenly. I think it would be fair to say I did not really take it all in back then but this time I had no choice but to as it was for my Dads recent passing and the responsibility was mine to arrange the funeral. They did such a great job with Mums passing I was always going to follow in Dad's footsteps and use their services and I cannot speak highly enough of them. I met with Rocky for the first appointment and he was very empathetic, sincere and reassuring that all would go well and he guided me through all steps of the process. Rocky and the team were a great support throughout, always available when I had a question and very prompt with their responses. What could off been a difficult time and process for me and my brother has indeed felt quite simple and I can't recommend them enough. Once again Rocky and the team thank you so much!

Having used LE Brands before we had no hesitation in using them again when my mum sadly passed away over Christmas. On this occasion we were looked after by Grant, and he was absolutely brilliant. During sad events these people are the best. Helped me deal with the passing of close family more than once, and although not somewhere I look forward to visiting should the need arise this will be my first choice.

Top Class Nothing Too Much Trouble On behalf of my father and family I write to thank you for looking after our father and helping us give him a great send off yesterday.
As with mother last year you and the other staff were professional, kind, caring and very helpful from, picking Dad up from Bishops Stortford right up to laying him to rest in his grave with mum yesterday Going through a bereavement is very stressful and needs delicate handling, Rocky and the team have been so helpful, nothing too much trouble.
My parents insisted that L. E. Brands & Sons should be used for their funerals obviously they knew of your great reputation
I have also written to thank Lee Shortall the celebrant. He delivered a beautiful personal service. This is the third time I have worked with him and I have recommended him to others too, he never fails to make the service special.

Margaret Elizabeth Guichard Just a note to say heartfelt thanks to John and the team (Paul, Rocky, Leah etc) for the caring and professional way you handled Mums funeral arrangements. It couldn’t have gone any better - right from my initial phone call, the funeral in January, through to her ashes being interred on Wednesday (her birthday).
I also appreciate the work that was put in to get the headstone ready in time - we’re all really pleased with it. Mum had been on to me for years to get my Dads headstone replaced - so she finally got her wish.

A Sincere, Personal Touch From A Genuinely Professional Team. Thank you so much. The time, empathy and help you have given has been second to none. Firstly, to Mrs Walker, in 2015, when she lost her husband (she was so appreciative of all the support and care you gave her – particularly Rocky & Paul). Your professionalism, compassion and care continued when she died; particularly talking us through how to use the technology needed to allow her friends and family to virtually attend the funeral during Covid restrictions; and remained when her ashes were interred with my Uncle’s.
